Do you know the Moomins?

So last year my sister got my mum some really nice Graphic Novels for Christmas, including two Moomins Graphic Novels. And let me say, I am impressed. If you haven't heard of the Moomins they are these strange creatures that live in a place called Moomin Valley. I think the books are originally Finnish, but having grown up with them all my life I can assure they are a good read for everyone in the family. I would recommend reading the books before the graphic novels, but to be honest you can do either or.

These books are very beautifully designed together as well as separately in a fashion that makes them a great collection to have on your bookcase. And I know, I know, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but who doesn't. The cover in my opinion can be a reflection of the story inside. Isn't that why books have cover in the first place.

I believe there are currently Nine books out at the moment, but with future plans on developing others. And they can all be purchased either in store (waterstones, WHSmith, Barnes and Noble) or online (Amazon, eBay, other online suppliers).

But of course we all know that what really counts isn't the cover or how to get them. Its whats inside that matters. Because after all what would be the point if you were just going to hate it anyway, so hear is a little look at whats inside. They are RANDOM strips  by the way, when you read the actual thing it makes sense.

I hope that at least some of you will buy one or two, because they really are incredible and in my opinion more people should know about them,so spread the word!

See ya soon,
Alex
