How to get ultimate amount of candy on Halloween

Here are some handy tips and tricks on the subject of getting candy on the sacred night of Halloween.....

First of all when you go door to door people aren't going to give much candy if you're an asshole, so be polite. Even if the person on the other end of the door is a little quirky its not an excuse just smile be polite make short (you don't want to be there all night) conversation, and when you leave smile and wave.
Bring a  big bag, you don't want to be forced home halfway through the night just because  you didn't pack eagerly enough. You'd be surprised by how generous people can feel on Halloween, even when they don't have any candy they still give you something. I once even got £5.00 from someone. That didn't take up much space in my wallet though, its pretty empty.

Get a GOOD costume. People are less likely to give you free stuff if you turn up in just a tracksuit and say you are a sportsman. And I don't mean go out and spend all your savings on a really elaborate cosplay costume because they probably wont understand it anyways, but just put that extra bit of effort into it that makes you stand out from the rest of the crowd.
Another thing about costumes is dont dress as a slut for Halloween, its not 'cool' it doesnt make you attractive, people are just less likely to give you sweets. The trick is looking as young and as adorable as possible. Thats why if you go with a baby or a toddler you are golden.

I know, I know staying safe is really important especially on Halloween when a lot of mental teenagers are around, but if you do happen to hit a couple of doors by yourself you will probably get more candy, as they might feel sorry for you or simply think that this way in the long run they are more likely to give less candy out in total. And lets be honest I know technically Halloween is a religious event where you are supposed to rid yourself of all your sins, in real life Halloween is all about the candy and how much of it you get

See ya soon,
Alex
